On the Road

At the bottom of the hill next to the Capital S garage on the main road in Kalathos, this is run by Nickos and Despina. It is a local meeting place for coffee or cocktails with light snacks or breakfast.

Konstantin

Just opposite Atrium Palace Kalathos, good reasonably priced evening meals.

The Grill House

The Grill House is situated opposite the entrance to Kalathos Heights adjacent to the Shell garage, reasonably priced good food.

Lindos

There are many good restaurants here.

Ambrosia

Run by George (nice guy) excellent evening meals, slightly up market price but does include a soup to die for! May have to book in advance for high season.

Gelo-blu

This is near Ambrosia, worth a visit for homemade ice cream, cakes, coffee and for dessert.

Lardos

Once again many good restaurants but not a good day for shopping.

Savvas

This is where the Rhodians eat. You can get good low priced chicken on the spit but be careful it can sometimes be on the dry side, so its worth having a look to see how many chicken are cooking which is just inside the door, if they look dark/black or lots of them go for the pork or lamb.

Roulas

Well priced for fillet steaks which are tender and two to three times the size of English steaks for approximately 9 euros.

Pefkos

Loads of restaurants.

Terpsis

Well priced good food with a wide selection of Greek starters.

Try a Meze, which is a selection of true Greek starters for a group of people.

Charaki

Beach side cafes where you can enjoy a snack with a cold beer or a fresh orange juice. Look out to the bay with the ducks and swans, swimming in the bay but there are pebbles.
